How a program behave differently to different user on same computer

This site gives a wealth of information with pictures for easy reference.
I installed office program and later on added some add in for excel and word
When i work with other users the add on feature and all the other things work normally.
But when i log in in my user account, when i click, configuring box, configuring ms office 2007 always annoying me even though there is nothing to configure. More over the add on like conditional sum wizard are giving me errors even when i click the formula bar.
How to correct my user account registry entries to avoid this, and proper working of the program
I already tried reinstallation, repair and diagnostics tool, but no progress.
Which is causing this trouble for my user account.
When this works for others , why not in user log in.
If i delete this user account, will the free give away of the day free software, that i downloaded and installed could become invalid. Please help me how to overcome. If any articles is there please give the link

Jraju mate I think you have just got to get rid of that other Office program whatever it was.

Just go to Programs and Features in the Control Panel and uninstall. If you have problem s with getting rid of it that way then try Revo uninstaller.
Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems the free version is good for what I think you want.

I am of course assuming that this is what you want to do? I am not real 100% aware of what it is you are trying to do.

Hi, Sir, Thank you for your reply. As you guess , it is a problem with ms office
I have uninstalled ms office thro their uninstaller, and then reinstall it in my admin log in. (the built inadmin). Any how, after reinstalling all the features of excel and word work in other user account, except on my account. When i log in my account, and when i add thro add in excel options, the conditional sumwizard error file message always crop up. Moreover , when i am starting the windows , i get this microsoft configuring ms office 2007, and it is going for for 10 minutes, gathering information and then green passage of installig and then it closes. Is there any way, to correct this . This only happens in ms office programs.
If i had installed some programs using my log in for free from GOTD, then would deleting my user account for this problem would make invalid those wonderful free programs and all that i installed. If i log on to other account for using this microsoft office, how to find my folders full of download and executables in my account. Does deleting user account erases all that is connected with user folders and program. Please help me . Thanks for your immediate response

Jraju no need to call me sir mate John will do:) Have you got any freeware on the machine?? for example any programs that clean up, optimize the registry etc etc? Also I am assuming you have had another office program on the machine is this right?

If so get rid of that stuff and I think you might need to uninstall the MS Office again after you have saved what data you have got first, and use the Revo unistaller to make sure. Reinstall just that MS Office back on to the machine to start afresh. http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html the free version is at the bottom of the left hand list.

If I might make a suggestion you really need to get more RAM on that machine my friend as 1GB is really at the lowest level I reckon even just the OS is capable of running. You need at least 2GB and preferably 4GB as that board supports it. Trouble is DDR is very hard to find now and to be brutally honest - expensive. The processor is fine for what you are using.

But full marks to you for posting some of your system specs as so many don't quote anything but the OS they are using:)

    Sir,

Excel add on problem was solved by deleting some start up items in the template folder.I found it by chance and deleted the entries. It then shows normal behaviour. Now i could access the adds in the excel like any other users.
But when i open the word, it shows a different template. Normal.dotm is corrupted. Is there any way to fix it. How could i locate the cause of this behaviour. Normal word has single line in paragraph and when i open and it gives multile lines.Likewise, some abnormal templates. How to locate the problem causing templates. When i view the document templates tab in the view menu, it shows "Normal", but i could not find where it is doing the mischief. Pl help me. Thanks for all those who helped me. expecting solutions

Well I suppose at worst you need to backup any data you have and uninstall the Office program and reinstall it.

Now I really do think that some more RAM would be really helpful Jraju.

Hi, iicit, I could access the ms office without problem. But i have tried those steps including revo uninstaller and microsoft office uninstall a fix it provided by microsoft fix it no.50154. but still the problem persisted Hence i asked for the solution. The word problem was solved, by copying the normal.dotm from my friends computer and restarting. Before doing it, i have deleted the corrupted dotm file altogether. Anybody having these problems will find this thread useful.Nothing coudl be found as the macro, as it is hidden deep in to the system path. So whenever i click, the word goes to that path and copy the templates from them. As the word does not show any abnormal behavious, except the above, i thought of copying the files to the exact location and restarting word has returned my default microsoft word templates. I have been affected by macro virus of the extreme nature. Every one should be careful , in downloading the example files containing macro.
The problem of configuring file, was located at Local disk c:\users|username|appdata\roaming\microsoft\Forms and the file name is refedit.exd. Once, i deleted and restarted, the msoffice automatically creates it without corruption.

Hi, I am having ccleaner and also for specific cleaning the wisecare 365. I got rid of the two problems. But the configuring of ms office 2007 is the only problem which eludes me without any solution so far.
It is configuring even then when there is no updates are available for download. I am working with the installation ms office 2007 and does not allow any updates . Because the updates are causing so many problems in accessing the help file and this configuration, if there is a powercut during the updates.
I also wish to state that by resetting the internet explorer would solve most of the updates problem. I know so many persons for years working with no updates on these office application. It may be years , not enough to live , to attempt even the basics of the word and excel. The questions regarding the usage of excel in yahoo forums and others will amply make this point very clear.
So, i fail to understand why the ms installer is looping this on every window startup. If you ask microsoft, a person like you only will be giving solution. II found most of the solutions only on reputed forums.

Jraju mate I am not a great fan of any other cleaning / optimising programs other than CC I would be really (myself) dumping that wisecare stuff for starters.

Have you run those scanner yet this still could be a malware problem - they don't take long and just dump everything they pick up.

Now the loop have a look at this and if you can find those updates just delete them
