Anything other than win32diskimgr for writing .img? fails..

a simple task of writing freenas to a usb stick is taking WAY too long ...
latest fiasco is win32diskimgr just fails... I don't know what its issue is - it executes, finds the img file, cannot find any device but delivers no errors - just sits there.

can someone suggest a img writer that works pls?
