    Arrow back and forward

    Hi,

Working in Windows maps and submaps doens't allow me anymore tot go back or forward with the forward and back arows in the left upper scrween.
They work though when I use my browser or in Outlook mail.
It seems to be a Win7 issue.

    Any one?

Welcome to Seven Forums theplayer. Sorry you haven't gotten any replies, but your referring to maps no doubt has baffled everyone. Only in searching did I confirm the Dutch use maps to refer to folders You should be able to use the explorer arrows to go forward and back while navigating through folders and sub folders.

Is this a new issue and it was working before? Does this happen in every explorer window, or only certain ones?

    Hi A Guy,

I'm sorry I used the wrong word: map instead of folder!

The problem has been solved, but inexplicable. At one moment I got my forward and backward arrows back again. I don't know why.
This picture in this site shows what I meant. It's the upper arrow on the left (and right) that didn't work anymore.

Yes, that is the explorer frame. That's what I assumed. Glad it's working again, and I learned the Dutch call folders maps

I learned something here too! :) I'll try to avoid that mistake again.
    Thanks for your reply!

    But there's something else.
I hope I can explain this clearly: I make use of a lot of saved links in BOOKMARKS. I have made folders (!) in which I keep links about the same subject.
But many times I can't save that link into the bookmark folder anymore, because the folder doesn't show when trying to save.So I have to save it as a link and move the link upwards to the folder for storing it there manually.
There are only a few folders which are shown when saving and most of the time the wanted folder doesn't show when saving.

I have saved printscreens of this problem to let you see what I mean. But how to show this on this forum?

I don't use FF much, so no bookmarks, but looks like there should be something to click on to see more folders?

    Hi A Guy,

Thank you very much for explaining the procedure to upload a photo or image! :)

Those members explain exactly (and better) what's going on. I will read the solutions carefully. Thanks again!
