Alienware Respawn does not work even with recovery partition

Hello everyone. I have an Alienware m17x R2 and I'm trying to restore it to factory settings.

    Here is my problem:
    • Upon reboot into "System Recovery Options" (F8), "Alienware Respawn" is not listed under "Command Prompt

More importantly, here is some important background information: (Things I have already done)
    • Downloaded and executed "DSLCheck.exe" to ensure Alienware Respawn would work.

    • Downloaded and executed "Alienware Respawn Premium" from within Windows 7 X64

    • Selected "Restore Entire System" (Alienware Respawn said this: "Your computer will be restored to the way it was on 1/13/2013 10:37AM (Factory Image)"

    • Clicked "Restart" to start the restoration process

    • Selected my keyboard, logged into my account, and now we see my problem above.

    • Side note: When I enter Disk Management within Windows 7, I see three partitions, a 39MB unnamed partition (The partition that Windows reserves when it installs, I imagine), a 12.15GB partition labeled "RECOVERY", and my main partition. So, this is to clear up the idea that I deleted my partition, as I did not; I can see it within Windows 7.

Any help with this strange issue would be much appreciated. I am knowledgeable with Windows 7 and computers in general, so if you have a solution that involves a technical procedure, please post it, as I will be able to (Most likely) understand your recommendation.

    Thanks.

(Side-side note: Some of you may be wondering why I had to download Alienware Respawn instead of having it already on my machine. That's because it was reformatted a long time ago to barebones Windows 7 (WITHOUT TOUCHING THE RECOVERY PARTITION). In my effort to troubleshoot, I am nearly 100% sure that this process somehow removed the Alienware Respawn from the System Recovery Menu. Sounds reasonable, but my assumption was that installing Alienware Respawn would restore it.)

tl;dr I am looking for a way to restore the Alienware Respawn option in the System Recovery Options menu with a recovery partition that is still fully functional and intact.

Thank you for the reply SandeepP. The article you provided was not related to my issue. (The original poster of the article didn't even have a problem.)

Discovered what the problem was with the blackscreen and it was simple human error, Since I got the pc, my monitor has been plugged into the secondary graphics card, rather than the primary. Hence why it wouldn't show anything on boot and blacks out the screen..
The user at the bottom, RJV3, does not understand what the Windows 7 fix was. That is only when you buy an Alienware system that comes preinstalled with Vista that was upgraded to Windows 7. The upgrade removed the option. This does not apply to my situation because this laptop came preinstalled with Windows 7.

If you can point me in another direction, I would highly appreciate that! Thanks for any and all help.

    Hi Caziban,

Thanks for your reply. I believe it might not be possible to have the startup respawn recovery for the factory installed recovery after windows re installation.

You can do a fresh backup completely and then check it might come up in start up options as well.

Please check this thread which explains the same:
