    Microsoft VS 2013 Installation freezing

When I'm installing Microsoft Visual Studio 2013, the installation keeps stopping at installing "Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 Multi-Targeting Pack". I have to install this because I need to build a very important project, and I can't do this without installing VS Ultimate 2013 PLZ HELP!!!

Perhaps you have a corrupted installation CD/DVD, or is this a Microsoft digital download?

You also have to have an active Internet connection to install VS 2013. Maybe the installer can't connect for some reason.

Welcome to Seven Forums hahagu. I have seen people with your issue, but not neccesarily freezing at that point. Some have had success at stopping the frozen install with task manage, rebooting, and running the installer again. Some as many as 3 or 4 times before success. Make sure and right click the installer and choose Run as administrator, running from an Admin account will not be enough. VS2013 also requires IE10. Clear you temp folders before any attempt as well.

If no success, look in Programs and features and see if Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 is listed. If not, you might try installing it before installing VS2013
