Start up freezes. Hangs at starting windows

This morning I booted up my computer to see my Internet wasn't connecting which is normal for my connection. It normally requires I just reboot and its fixed. So I rebooted but it got stuck at the Starting Windows screen with the windows logo. I'm running windows 7 home 64 bit. 2 days before I installed some new driver using the driver manager that comes with advanced system care. I hadn't rebooted since I installed those drivers so I'm hoping its just the drivers causing windows to take its time. I haven't been able to get into windows yet. Any help at all is appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to Seven Forums DCashley. I'd try booting to Safe Mode and see if that will load. If so, got to

Start> In search box type System restore> Enter> Pick a restore point from before you added the drivers with ASC

    System Restore

See if that fixes the issue.

If you cannot get into Safe mode, follow Option Two to get to SR from your installation disc.

I am not a fan od ASC at all, too many times helping fix issues only to find ASC was involved. I know people love it, but not me (and others here). A Guy
