Do this SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Any integrity errors? If so... post the sfcdetails.txt
Try to disable virusscanner (at least temporary). Volume Shadow Copy service: Can you start that service manually? If not... what error?
Guess I overlooked that part...but probably can't figure put how to check that part it says. I'll try to figure it out when I'm home later
Event log pops with an error..."Event Log service is unavailable. Verify that the service is running."
No idea how I would verify anything.? It's almost like my computer doesn't exist to itself..
You are probably best trying a system restore from winre.
Tap F8 at start up to fire up winre. "Repair My Computer"
You should get these options after it has scanned for installations: ( You might not have the bottom option )
System Recovery Options
