System Mechanic vs Reimage vs Slim Cleaner Plus
I purchased System Mechanic for about $19. Works well. Improved my computer performance substantially. I subsequently downloaded the "free" Reimage and the Slim Cleaner Plus tools for comparison. The Slim Cleaner uncovered about 89,000 browser problems (no kidding! Over 89,000!) and a variety of registry, bad files, etc. problems that System Mechanic does not, and then asked me for about $40 to fix them. Reimage also uncovered a large set of browser, registry, bad files, etc. problems and asked for about $50 to fix them.
Who is correct? Are they each finding problems that the other does not? Or, is this just sales gimmicks? And, why can't Windows 7 uncover and fix these same problems?
