    build 7601 windows not genuine


    ive had my laptop for a couple of years and about 2 months ago i got the black screen and it said my windows isnt genuine. its not really a big deal but it is annoying and any help to get rid of it would be very welcome.

    That product key is a well known counterfeit one.

    Use this tutorial to change to the product key that is shown on the COA sticker attached beneath your laptop, as long as that COA is also for Windows 7 Ultimate:
    Product Key Number - Change

    If its for a different version, let us know.

    i keep getting a message saying it isnt valid. i dont understand how it could be being used on a different computer seen as ive never given it to anyone.

    I can read the product key but I cant read make out what version of windows it is, why would i lie when I am asking for help?

    Can you make out any other characters on the COA sticker? Do you know which version of Windows was originally installed on this laptop?
