    Hello again,

I've just downloaded 'tcount116'. Thank you so much.

I do believe that your app may gain popularity if publicised in the right places.
Please don't consider the following suggestions ungrateful. My intention is good. :)

    1) If possible, reduce also the RAM usage. tcount116 and Process Hacker use around 9MB; - tcount should use much less.
    2) If possible, use larger font for 2 digits and smaller font for 3 digits.
    3) IMO, a small INI file for background and foreground colors could be a good idea.
    4) How about changing the name to 'Process Counter' or 'Task Counter'?

    Best wishes.
I will release version 1.17 shortly.
    EDIT: Just released.

Points 1 and 2 have been addressed as best I could.
Point 3, in a later version perhaps.
Point 4: the current name is "TaskCount" - do you feel "Task Counter" or "Process Counter" would be a better name? Or are you referring to the filename (tcountxxx.exe)?

Yeah, marketing is really not my strong suit... :)

    Hi drakefu,

"Points 1 and 2 have been addressed as best I could."
    - This is an understatement. You've done wonders to the memory consumption: 370 kb most of the time is excellent!

English is not my native tongue, but I think that "Process Counter" would be nice (both for the app and the exe file).

Allow me to encourage you again to submit the app to Softpedia, Cnet and more.
Manigue wrote (in this post) that he found the program useful for making sure that an application has been terminated.
Another possible usage is Virus Protection: I once discovered a virus on my system several days after the infection. With "Process Counter" it should be easier to detect viruses earlier.
(If you do submit the app, remember to mention these points).

May I 'harass' you a bit more?
The font you use for 2 digits is somewhat fuzzy on my system (Win 7, Classic theme). Would it be a trouble finding a sharper font?

Lots of thanks. I would give the app 5 stars. :)

    Hi Yaron et al,

    I've just released 1.19.

    Index of /files/release/

Is the font more readable now? I didn't change fonts, just tweaked the rendering code.
I've used the icon you suggested as it's nice and small, thanks! Did you create it?

I've also renamed the app to ProcessCounter.

Again, many thanks for your suggestions and encouragements. I really need to catch
up with some other aspects of my life now, but as soon as I have some free time, I'll
be sure to submit the app to a few freeware sites.

    Hi drakefu,

    The font is perfect now.
Thank you so much. It's rally a great tool.

Please note that the ico file contains THREE 16x16 icons. I wanted you to choose one. :)
The first 2 icons are from:
    https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/926...r_icon#size=32

I just added the green and red blocks.
The third icon is also based on an icon I found.
    Glad you liked it.

Please don't forget to update here if you release a new version. :)
    Many thanks.

I wish you the very best.
