FWIW: I jumped on the multi machine version of malwarebytes for 3 machines for less than $50 and haven't looked back. It is a great
product and well worth the $25 for the single machine.

I use the Pro version and it's a mandatory product,
Had it for 3-4 years and it's great/ Lifetime license is cheap and does not expire,
    Well worth it,
    Cheers.
That is very inexpensive. I'll consider it, might even buy two and get the volume discount - give one license to a daughter. That's not going to work... better give it to a son-in-law.

Fortunately the price average drops after time,
There is No renewal or repeating costs it's yours as long as you still have the activation code,
    Priceless utility,
    Cheers.

    Fun fact,
I ran across Malwarebytes when Norton used it to clean my computer long ago,
That's when I made up my mind to dump Norton and use MABM and a free Antivirus MSE never looked back,
Added Superantispyware Pro to the arsenal as well about the same time and those two paid version are better than Norton was
Both Pro versions costs the same or less than Norton was

Yes, I got the lifetime version. I would have never guessed the license would have been lifetime. For a lot of years I purchased the yearly renewal on Zone Alarm Security Suite. The price was increasing and about three years go I just quit them when it got to be $40 a year. That is just too much. I got MSE and found a good free email spam filter in Spam Bytes. It is amazing the free stuff that is on the web when you just take some time to look.

I would have bought this one if I'd know sooner, to help SF.

The two I got from Newegg says nothing about a lifetime license on the box, how to tell? The Newegg page said it is lifetime.

I noticed the same thing about the lack of mentioning a lifetime license now on the card that is in the box...
Here is an MBAM thread about license questions:

Interesting, it would seem Pro is Lifetime and Premium is the 1 year license.

If you look at the back of the CD it will say version 1.70

"We will continue to honor existing lifetime licenses, meaning any users that already have a lifetime license for 1.x will continue to have a lifetime license for 2.x."

Thanks Bob, I hadn't even opened the CD. It does say Version 1.70 in a very tiny hologram in the center of the disk.

If I understand this correctly, it seems buying the Premium version 3 PC 1 Yr license is a better deal if you buy it before MBAM 2.0 is released. (2.0 BETA was released today)
Seems like you get a lifetime license for 3 PCs.
    Am I understanding this correctly?

This is what MBAM posted about the license question:

The retail product named Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium is a unique, hybrid product that provides malware protection TODAY and a very valuable upgrade option in the near future. When the Premium box product is installed, it checks to see if the new V2.0 is available. When it is, Premium will automatically download and install it along with the normal, renewable subscription license that comes with V2.0 and has been described in other forum posts.

However, until v2.0 is released (planned for late March 2014), the Premium box product installs the latest v1.75 product...and includes a TRANSFERABLE LIFETIME LICENSE that enables you to later upgrade to v2.0 and retain your Lifetime License instead of getting a new subscription license. So, the added-value in the Premium box product is when you purchase it before v2.0 is released.
