    program that doesn't start properly

I have had a few programs that don't show up on the screen when started. I look in the Task Manager, and the program has started as a running process. No screen but the process is running. If I tried a few times, then the Task Manager shows more incidences of the program running.????

I've had this problem before. All I did was end the processes of the program that is running and try and run the program and if that doesn't work then right click the program and run it as administrator.

    Hope this helps.

    program that doesn't start properly.............
I tried running it as the administrator, no luck. The same thing happens. 'Runs as a process, but nothing on the screen.

Let's try 2 things to see if it will open at all

Boot to Safe Mode with Networking, see if the program opens normally in safe mode (I say with networking as I don't know if it requires internet access?)

    Safe Mode

If it launches normally, try a clean start and see if it launches then as well

Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

Let us know the results and we'll go from there. Security and even firewall programs can often interfere with programs GUI (graphical user interface) launching, even though the process itself does start.
