    BTWUIExt has stopped working

Were you ever able to resolve this issue? I've tried the above suggestions but am still not able to pair with my computer. Someone said it probably has to do with one of the Windows updates and I recently had to have Win 7 reinstalled and all of the updates.

the bottom line is - don't buy cheap Chinese crap. Well known brands are more expensive for a reason. They work.

First: Blanket statements like "Chinese crap" do not support anything. It's nothing shy of an ad hominem and a sign of ignorance.
Secondly: I completely agree with you (in the sense of buying locally to support OUR economy)!
Thirdly: The reason 'well known brands' are expensive? Because of psychological research.

I'll sell you a plant-pot for $50! It's made from ceramic ($1 for me) and has a pretty picture (an emblem of [NOUN]). It's well known!

    Total cost for me: $5
    Total cost for you: $50
    My profits: $45
My investment into making the emblem 'popular' and 'well known?' $0

My strategy only banks on the common person's ignorance of how the world works.

Back on topic though: I have no idea what "BTWUIxt" is or why it's not working on your Windows 7 box.

    To shorten the list:
    BIOS/UEFI/EFI settings
Frameworks (think of a house with wooden stints as a [software] 'framework')
    Specialized hardware missing
    Specialized hardware mismatched IDs
Hardware damage (just because a broken hammer is broken does not mean it cannot be 'partially' used by a blind man)
Windows settings (guesstimate to ~100 that will directly affect this)
Alternative software / their settings (the number is practically infinite)

You expect any one person or group of persons to cater to your every whim and need? The product you purchased more than likely functions as intended (including the software). It should be tested on a standard Windows 7 installation, with whatever prerequisites (.NET Framework 3.5.1 or .NET Framework 4.7.1 perhaps?) it has (which should be listed in the manual; If it has one: Did you read it?).

I am not attempting to attack you, but merely defend the other party from your unfounded blanket accusations.
I am also trying to explain to you that software is not magical voodoo. It is very dumb. Even 'intelligent' software is incredibly dumb.

My final solution was to upgrade to Windows 10. We have WIN 10 at work so I was already familiar with it. It's fine and Bluetooth works! Yay!
Guess I'll have to start visiting TenForums. :)
