Java problem in windows 7 pro

Around the first of the year I got a new computer that had windows 7 professional per-installed, at first everything was just fine, a few weeks ago, I could not use any web pages that employed java, in any browser. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it? I cannot even use the java test page, I only get an empty white box, how silly of java to use java script in it's web site

If you cant use there test page that indicated that java is out of date and needs updating.
    Here is the link: https://www.java.com/en/download/

Java and Java Script are two different things.
    Please read these.

JavaScript - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What is Java and why do I need it?

Most need Java Script and most don't need Java.

Their are very few websites that need Java.
Many people including me have no Java on the computers.
Some programs do require Java but I know of no browser that does.
Browsers do need Java Script to work properly.
Lets try this; remove all Java.
    Try your browsers.
What websites are you having problems with?
