Yahoo Messenger keeps signing me out.

    Yahoo Messenger keeps signing me out.


    I bought a laptop last week and installed Yahoo Messenger (as I have on my PC.)

    It now signs me out every 20 seconds and I have to re-sign in.

    I set the preferences to sign out if I leave the PC and go to the laptop and sign in there.

    No difference.

    I only use it to notify me of incoming email , but this change is annoying.

    Any ideas?

    Do you sign out of Yahoo Messenger on the desktop before you sign in on the Laptop?

    You cannot be signed into your account in more than one location.

    Yup, exactly what I said.

    I just uninstalled and reinstalled and the message is gone for now.
