    Windows Live ID Client Runtime

    Hello,
Have been looking around my system and came across the Windows Live ID Client Runtime, can't make out what it is for and why I need it.
    Any ideas?
    Any assistance appreciated!

Do you have windows 7 live essentials installed?

Windows Essentials - Download Windows Live Essentials

    Movie maker, photo gallery?

    Is so that is why.

No I do not believe I do. Sorry, but how can I make sure I don't and then can I get rid of the Client ID?
    Appreciated,

Look in add/remove programs for any windows live ID programs. Or windows live essentials.

Programs such as skype, onedrive (formally skydrive) and other Microsoft software may use windows live ID.

There is not a problem having it on your system, so if your not sure its safer to leave it on there.

I can't identify anything that would use it, just the actual program as of 2/16/14.
    Thanks again
