This program is blocked by a group policy, help me remove this message

I blocked a application that gives at random times pop up ads for avira.

    The free antivirus program.

Now its gone. YES! good but each time I start up my pc I get the error message above.

I know I did that and I'm fine with it. What I would like however is for it to stop telling me the above error and keep the avira notify blocked.

    Hello Max,

You will always see that message whenever anyone or anything opens the blocked program.

Since this is happening at startup, check your startup programs for this file, and either disable or delete it from running at startup. This should stop the message.

    Hope this helps, :)

When it wants to show a pop up message the error message appears. So disabling it on startup won't fix it right?

What I'm trying to say is that it doesn't just appear on start up but also after.

If what you said above is true, then disabling it in your startup programs should stop the message.

What's happening is that when your startup programs are processed, it runs that blocked file (if in your startup programs), and then gives you the error message stating that it cannot run because it was blocked.

But then the whole program doesn't run so is useless to have when a virus threat is present? I can't disable on startup the pop up service. Only the whole program.

In that case see if using one of the other methods below may work better.
