    Notepad++ and the context menu.


    So I just reinstalled Home Premium 7 then applied the Home Premium to Professional "Anytime Upgrade". I then installed my favorite little text editor Notepad++ and everything appears to be working well except that Notepad++ is not showing up in the context menu as "Open with Notepad++".

    Before I reinstalled 7 I had installed Notepad++ and the context menu relationship worked without issue. I am the administrator and I ran the installer via "Run as administrator". Any thoughts?

Anybody know where this cont menu is? 169257 I think I used to know but have forgotten.
Running Windows 7 64-bit and just installed Notepad++ (v5.5.1) using the exe installer package. The context menu entry "Edit with notepad++" is not showing up. Also tried the manual method of running the reg.bat file to add the menu entry which also did not work. Anyone else run into this...
