    Selling on my Microsoft Outlook

    Hi folks,

In 2008 or 09 my wife and I both bought a standalone copy each of Microsoft Outlook 2007. At the time we thought it was great.

then along came google mail, the cloud and all our google contacts etc synching seamlessly with our mobiles etc and Outlook stopped getting used. Since then we have both built new puters and didnt even bother to install it.

Ive now got two boxes of full retail Outlook standalone 2007 and my wife wants ot know if we can sell them on ebay?

    Any advice much appreciated

    Thanks
    Matt

Cannot hurt to try. It's a tad out of date. Just make sure to uninstall them from your machines before doing so.

According to the Microsoft Software License Terms, Paragraph 16,

    16. TRANSFER TO A THIRD PARTY. The first user of the software may make a onetime transfer of the software, and this agreement, directly to a third party. The first user must uninstall the software before transferring it separately from the device. The first user may not retain any copies. Before any permitted transfer, the other party must agree that this agreement applies to the transfer and use of the software. The transfer must include the proof of license. If the software is an upgrade, any transfer must also include all prior versions of the software.
    Yes you can.

Here's a copy if you'd like as well.
