    Hi,
    What are you unchecking ?
Usually shutting down the machine or booting will apply the changes as far as I know,
    autoruns,

Changes are made immediately when you check or uncheck the item. There is no undo facility either so be careful. In this regard it is just like a registry editor. The save item in the File menu has a different purpose. Read the help for what it does.

Note that checking an item will not cause it to run and unchecking it will not stop it. A reboot, or in some cases a logout and login, is required for the settings to take effect. Some items with a checkbox cannot be disabled.

Autoruns was designed as a tool for people who understand the implications of what they are doing. It is not as user friendly as a text editor.

I had restarted it and no luck, the item still runs.

Hi there .. I wonder have you tried selecting Veriface Select Setting tab
    Select Modify

Unselect the check box which says Use face recognition at the time of login
    Select "Modify" and save changes.
