Revo Uninstaller - "Invalid Date Time"

    Hi,

I noticed that Revo Uninstaller that I just installed recently (Version 1.9.5.0) has "Invalid Date Time" in the "Installation Date" column for all programs. Tried to Google it - nothing.

    I attached the screen shot.

Not a show stopper but still curious.

    Thanks,
    -BBDS

That's an old version. I have Revo Uninstaller Pro and its Version 3.1.5.

    Hi, @fireberd:

Actually, according to the product main page just now, I think 1.95 is the current FREE version.
3.1.5 is the current paid, PRO version (for which there is a free trial).

    @boyboyds:
Where did you get the file?
From the publisher's site, or somewhere else?

    Thanks,

    Stupid question:

    Is your system date/time correct?

    Just a thought...

    And another stupid, unrelated question:

What version of KIS/KAV are you running?
    It looks like 2015.
But the current build is 15.0.2.361 (-d-).
The screen shot from Revo shows a very old build (15.0.0.740).

    Thank you for your response.

I re-installed it and it is fine now, it probably was some glitch.

Kaspersky free security scan I do not use, it may be outdated, I did not find it very useful.
But I do use their free on-demand scanner (Virus Removal Tool) and it is up to date.
    For AV I use MSE.

    Thanks,

    Hi:

    Ahhh, very good!
I'm glad simply reinstalling the software resolved your issue.:)

Also, re: the free Kaspersky standalone scanner, thanks for the clarification.
I could only see that it was a Kaspersky product, and it ***appeared*** to be your AV, from the visible snippet in the screen cap.
Having said that, if it's an older version of the scanner, you might want to uninstall/remove it.
These sorts of tools are updated frequently.
It's always best to download the *current* version when one needs them, rather than using an older version.
Otherwise, you could run into problems with False Positives, False Negatives, performance problems or compatibility issues.

    Thanks for updating us,

    MM
