    DVD/CD Burner "Imageburn"

I am trying to evaluate Imageburn and Burnaware CD/DVD burner programs

    I have downloaded Imageburn v2.5.8.0
VirusTotal scan score 4/51 ... not good, to say the least
User-comments on Softpedia site report adware and one report of sneakware.
    - I suspect some complainants ignore installation opt-outs then complain when they discover adware.
    - Sneakware is another matter of outright contempt for users.

I have found Burnaware home page and download page
Free Burnaware also links to Virus Total report which gives a scan value 0/52 score ... clean!
    - I ignore user-scores because it is too easy to register garbage by simply clicking the bad/good user score meter.
    - I have actually accidentally clicked on "bad" and it registered, there is no other input required

Has any one used Free Burnaware ?

    Thank you :)

    Lots of members use it...
    ...or used to.

I used to use Imgburn portable all the time, very good program with no problems whatsoever, but with the latest versions I can't find portable option, so I didn't even try it, really sad if it has all those issues as I liked it a lot. At least I still have older version that works fine. What really shocked me was the Adobe flash plugin that installs McAffe and I think Bing, if you're not careful and my flash games still don't work.

Thanks for this info and thread reference. Just uninstalled ImgBurn and switched to CDBurnXp.
Malwarebyte found that PUP Open Candy was installed in my PC.
