Wpf4TrayManager has stopped working

    Before performing the scandisk, I observed a pattern where the error would always appear before the MediaFire Desktop system tray assistant loaded. I rebooted several times and this proved consistent.

    I uninstalled the MediaFire Desktop program and tested several reboots, the error was gone! I believe it may have something to do with startup items (it's a tray manager problem after all) and in my case, it was MediaFire.

    Thanks for the help though, I will still perform the scandisk since that one is long overdue in my maintenance list. :)

    No problems Kathy glad it got sorted and if you want some extra performance try the tutorial if you haven't already - it will give you heaps of tips on tidying the machine up in Windows including the Start up stuff .:)
