    SED drive authentication program

Does a program exist for win7, preferably free (we all like free), that can provide boot authentication for an SED (Self Encrypting Drive)? No, 'BIOS HD password' is not the answer, that doesn't actually protect anything. I used to use TrueCyrpt but now that is no longer supported I am looking for alternatives, There are plenty of ways to put a password on a HD but they do not protect it after it is removed from the computer. I am looking for a program that will actually make the HD unusable without the authentication, if one exists.

Even so, since my drive is self-encrypting I would rather use the built-in, no performance loss encryption. Also thanks very much for that link, I just re-installed windows and lost my version of TC and its good to have a working version again.
