Unable to Uninstall a Program
I have completely converted both my laptop and desktop from xp to Windows 7 Home Premium. The conversions went smoothly and Easy Transfer certainly helped.
However there is one remaining problem I can't seem to solve. On my desktop, I installed Great Games Product's Bridge Baron and included the Learn to Play Bridge feature. After the installation, I decided I did not need or want it so I tried Programs and Features to uninstall it. It would not uninstall. As soon as I chose Uninstall I got a fatal Error: Bad Config Filename. The message header says,"c:\ltpb\runin.dat." There is no ltpb folder on c:. I have tried to reinstall the feature but the Bridge Baron installation cd will not let me do it. I guess because an entry in the registry makes it think it is already installed. It doesn't show up in the start/all programs list. I never tried to run it before I tried to uninstall so I don't know if it really ever got installed completely even though it did appear in start/all programs. Bridge Baron itself runs flawlessly.
Can someone give me some guidance on how to remove the Learn to Play Bridge from the list of programs in the Programs and Features list? It just will not go away.
Thank you very much.
