    Choice of scanning software

Is there a software that has an option to save a selection from an image without cropping? Thanks in advance.

Are you viewing an image file with a program such as Paint, Windows Photo Viewer, etc., and want to just copy and save a selected part of the image ?

If that's what you are doing the built in snipping tool can do this.

Yes, you can use PixaFlux to do this:
Drag and drop a Reader node and set the path to your image.
Drag and drop a Reframe node and use the gizmo to set the portion of the image you want to save.
You can drag and drop a Resize node if you want to set the size of the saved image.
Then, use File > Save Output Image to save the final image.

Dynamic Web TWAIN has a feature to support it. You can use CropToClipboard to crop the selection to clipboard and use LoadDibFromClipboard to load it back to Dynamic Web TWAIN to save it.
