Windows 7 Program not opening after sometime

Hello its y first post

my laptop running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit have problem from few days , which is quite strange . when i start window then after sometime ( sometime half hour , sometime 3 hours ) no new program open like i have open firexfox it start and now am unable to open other programs the click not work , no program can be clicked to open , i can use windows explorer i can go to my computer go through drives , folders but on my desktop when i click application then busy sign with cursor appear and it goes on , also i can't lock windows , not showdown , not restart ..... so need help this is strange problem , it can be occurred of few things because my system was working correctly before it 1) i updated drivers through iobit driver booster 2) i clean registry with my antivirus Bitdefender 2014 registry cleaner utility 3) unproper shutdown

i scan my system with MalwareBytes-AntiMalwre.
also i try to restore system but system restore failed

need help

Because this has been done.

1) i updated drivers through iobit driver booster 2) i clean registry with my antivirus Bitdefender 2014 registry cleaner utility 3) unproper shutdown
I recommend doing this. Hopefully it will solve your problem so you don't have to do a clean install.
