Adobe Reader 11.0.09 freezes my whole system when I try to print

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. When ever I try to print a pdf in Adobe Reader 11.0.09 my whole system freezes. I cannot even get to task manager and I have to hold down my laptop's power button.

Welcome to Seven Forums dostrowskic. I see where hangs when printing are often caused by the Protected mode at startup setting in reader. It is a security setting, but is also causing issues for Adobe users. This site explains it (I do not use Adobe, I use Sumatra myself).

    Adobe Reader 11.0.09 freeze fixed

Thank you for the help. I did dis-Enable Protected Mode but it didn't help. Then I was directed to look at my Event Log and I saw many, many Bonjour errors. I don't need Bonjour so I uninstalled it and now I can print pdf's just fine. Would you have any ideas why that would cause problems with Adobe Reader?

Bonjour causes many errors period. It is a common find in BSOD as well. Just poorly written I guess. Maybe Apple's revenge Glad you figured it out
