    Win 7 paint

    Hello,
I probably have a simple problem.
I'm trying to draw an arrow onto a photograph using the arrow "shape" and then fill it in so that it is solid using the bucket tool. It doesn't work.
I've tried saving as a bitmap but that didn't work either. Any help would be appreciated Thanks. JB

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
You might use Free GIMP for editing like that,
Paint will make a hollow shape but fill you would have to repeat that shape as many times as it would take to fill the area

Filling a shape such as the arrow is relatively simple, have to choose the Fill just on the right side of those shapes and the type of fill desired, I do it every morning when printing the daily crossword from e-Edition of our paper to blank out the parts I don't want to print.

Berton's suggestion should work perfectly! No need to use the paint bucket.
