    I think it might be better if Shawn adds it to the Repair Install Tutorial so that anyone who tries it will know straight away what they will need to do to get messenger working again.

    Actually I will just link this thread to it to make him aware and then he can add some notes if he wants.

    I agree it's still a good option as long as you know what it will break and it solved allot more problems then it created and those problems were only going to be fixed with either a fresh install or the repair install, so I know which one I will choose.

    I added some notes on the tutorial so now everyone should know the downfalls, another thing swarfega did you loose any custom themes after the Repair?

    The only thing I've noticed since I did it was my Windows Media Center gadget is gone. I already deleted my discard folders so...
