    Windows explorer crash while opening folders/file


    Good day!

    I always encounter crashing of windows explorer while opening folders and files in a file server.

    Below is the details of the error

    I've already tried sfc /scannow 3 times already and also chkdsk and turning off DEP.

    Is there any way to resolve this issue.

    It may be related to some Explorer extension that was installed and crashing on network drives? Try disabling installed programs "shell integration" as much as you can to test.

    Also, you probably want to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1, as it might fix something related to this crash, in addition to some other minor bugfixes.
