Is it best to uninstall the free version before installing this version ?
Or is installing over the top ok ?

I only used the free version briefly some time ago but removed it as it was only 32bit.

I guess that you'd be better off removing the free version first. You can always reinstall it any time.

    Zemana Antilogger install (2)

Quick test. Installed free version and removed it. Installed full version and it installed and activated.

Ran a program that I use to test anti keyloggers - it's called antitest.exe

Zemana says it's blocked it but actually it still executes:

    Zemana Anti-logger-zemana-antilogger-test.jpg

Keylogging test: Keyboard hook is set but only records scrambled text. Zemana works.

Webcam Capture test: Webcam can be started but only a black image is recorded. Zemana works.

Additionally the webcam driver was enabled before starting the test: Webcam On/ Off

Screenshot Capture test: All eleven tests result in successful capture. Zemana fails.

    Clipboard test: Zemana works.

Registry Access test: Zemana fails but I think that it's not meant to protect this or at least only protects certain areas.

Sound Record test: Zemana fails but doesn't offer protection for this.

Bummer you missed that freebie offer.
Maybe another freebie from WindowsDeal will be offered sometime soon.

Yeah, bummer on the miss! I've been watching WindowsDeal but it looks as if I've already missed the 100 and 70% discounts don't know how far back these go.
Shimshom did PM me and I thanked him there for watchin' out for me and other members.

When I was a younger lad I didn't mind snow, but I've since converted to the "you don't have to shovel rain" crowd.
I did my usual early morning email check and by the time snow removal and supper went by I went to bed early.

The same .527 version, eh? I'm thinking I'd have to punch in the new license, at worse, maybe a reinstall with the new license. Oh well that's water over the dam now......
I'd go with uninstalling the free version first, I tried installing the free over the licensed and the free installer asked me to uninstall the licensed version before it would go any further, I suspect the reverse would be true also.

Yea, i uninstalled the free version before installing the paid version.
    So far no problems.

It looks like the last freebie at WindowsDeal was Feb. 17, 2014

    GOTD Zemana Anyilogger version

The strange thing is that I got v1.9.3.602

    Zemana Anti-logger-about-zemana-antilogger.jpg

I had problems installing it in the first place. From memory (not too clear):

Ran the setup file from GOTD and had problems due to blocked GOTD domain in my hosts file. Disabled HOSTS and anything else that could interfere with the download and ran the file again. A temp folder was created in %userprofile%\Appdata\Local\Temp|mia1 with a new setup file that wouldn't run but it also created a file named antilogger.exe.

Downloaded trial version of Zemana and installed it. Deleted GOTD files - everything except antilogger.exe.

Ran antilogger.exe and it launched a registration program and registered the version downloaded from the Zemana site using the GOTD license code.

Edit: Just cleared temp directory and the file was still present so here's a screenshot:
