View HTML files other than IE

I'd like to view HTML files (both online and offline) in other than Internet Explorer
and also Not use Sync Center.

!) Any program that is better than another?

    2) How do I set up Windows 7 to do this?

    Thanks

    Hi,
As far as I know html files are nothing more than shortcuts to websites ?
Or a bunch of shortcuts/ url addresses ?
    Cheers.

For Offline, in Internet Explorer you can go to File and choose Save as... which will give choices, .mht for a single file with images, HTML only, HTML with images which will be in a Folder with the same name and added _files. With Firefox it's on the right-click menu, put the cursor in the middle of the page first.

For viewing in other programs try Microsoft Office/Word. I use Microsoft Expression Web, a free HTML editor. A downside in using some programs with HTML is the page may not display correctly.

    Thanks for responding.
I went with Firefox for now. FWIW, by dragging the FileOpen button to the 3 bar menu and then using it to open an HTML file in a directory (folder), the offline HTML seems to show correctly. I see Firefox also has web tools but need to climb the learning curve.

    Have a Happy Holidays.

Sometimes it's fun to learn something new. When I quit learning I'll be in deep trouble.

    Happy Holidays.
