Hi all, I'm using Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit on a new computer and I can't seem to install Adobe CS4 or Acrobat 9. Does anyone know if I need to upgrade to Windows 7 Pro or is it something else I'm not doing right?
It seems that many people are having success installing it but what version of wsindows 7?

I was able to install Adobe CS4 products on 64bit version of Win7 Pro just fine. i refuse to use Acrobat/Reader though. I even got the 64bit version of Photoshop appearing in my Start menu. The one issue is Adobe Device CS4 will install under 64bit OSes no matter what as there isn't an option in the installer to disable it. Or rather there is but the choice to install it or not is not enabled so you are forced to have it.
Thanks, I may upgrade to Pro anyway just to be sure I have remote access capabilities. I still can't get Acrobat 9 installed however. Maybe the upgrade will help. We'll see.. Thanks again.
Everything in CS3 seems to work fine except for converting Word documents into PDFs in Acrobat 8. This is a feature that I use daily.
In fact, after installing the latest Adobe Acrobat 8 updates, I could not print anything from Word 2007. I had to go in and enable macros to fix it.
Fortunately, I have a copy of Docudesks' Desk PDF with does the job for me. I don't know if they have it fixed in Acrobat 9 but I am sure not going to pay the ridiculous fee that Adobe wants for the upgrade to find out.
