    That's strange.

Well I downloaded and reinstalled SIW anyway.

    SIW free version install

It's okay! SIW free version installs just fine on my machine without open candy but that .dll is blocked. Just wanted to let other members know that the paid version doesn't contain any nasty extras!

Only AVG and Eset find the bugger.

I did not get the OCSetupHlp.dll. Downloads from Major Geeks are usually clean.

    The mystery deepens

Well they do show the following info on MajorGeeks:

Except when I run the installer there's no option to opt out. Are you running any software that blocks executables running in your %USERPROFILE%\AppData\* folder? That could explain why you don't see anything.

Maybe. I have so much stuff on my system. I do not remember what I installed 2 years ago, LOL. But basically this is a vanilla Chrome for the download.

When I tested my .exe with Virus total, it found the bugger. But it is not in my .dlls - unless it is hiding some place.

    LOL. It is good.

There is also this - free and a favourite of mine.

Here's the Softpedia download link and info on SIV. The 21 screenshots included are probably a better indication of what this software can do than those screenshots shown on the manufacturer's website.

It's also possible to save a report. (all items)
