Uhh...that hurts ,but I don't think you're right bacuse of two things.
First,I believe that,in this case Microsoft, gives beta to see how an average user deals with it,how it fits and what do other people think about it,and to got feedback about what to improve, maybe add,and about eventual bugs to fix them.
Second,I believe that he is an average user cos I think that he knows how to add or remove windows component.
I believe it because of simple reason and that is the fact that he is here,on new"windows7 forum" which means that he is regular visitor of different forums and he would already ask about adding/removing components in XP or even in Vista, and now he is asking about a command line which removes messenger from registry for good like it was in XP before(I don't know for Vista because I didn't use Vista even if I have enough good machine, but simply didn't like it because of amount of CPU power and RAM which it needed, and it was just beautifull but wasn't nothing faster then XP,which wasn't a fact with windows 7,even in beta version). So,in my opinion,I think that makes him(and who knows how many people more beside him) an average user, and without any intent to offens you,I also think that it is just such a profile of people the main goal of Microsoft is.
I'm sorry on my bad language, because english is not my native language but I hope you willl understand
