Does anyone use iTunes and Apple Software Update?

If anyone uses iTunes and Apple Software Update, I could use some help. Every time I try to use Apple Software Update, it asks for administrator privileges. It's never asked for that before. It's also not getting the required updates. Help needed please.

Try closing iTunes and then right click on the icon and choose run as administrator and see if it updates then, I had the same problem a couple weeks ago and that worked for me.

I tried that. But, Apple Software Update still asks for administrator privileges.

To be honest the only time I've ever been prompted that there was an update for iTunes is if I started/ opened iTunes,
UAC prompt to allow an Apple product to make changes to your computer is pretty normal
Post a screen shot of the message your getting,

I personally uninstalled iTunes long ago and have not installed it again.

It just asks for administrator privileges. My sister has it on hers, and the software doesn't ask for administrator privileges. But, this is while I am opening Apple Software Update. I will also be looking into this with some research. Apple Support forums doesn't seem to know what I am talking about.
