Windows 7 Boot Updater Failed To Run

I've used this program before, but for some reason, it just refuses to work. When I used it before, it was on this same system I'm on right now, and it worked flawlessly, even gave me a faster boot time with the animation I chose to use, but now it just keeps saying the program failed to run. I've downloaded it multiple times, from multiple sources and different mirrors, and each time, this same exact error, with the same exact report, down to the exact wording, is what displayed. The error report is as follows:

    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: Win7BootUpdater.exe
    Application Version: 0.0.1.1
    Application Timestamp: 4dc08f1c
    Fault Module Name: KERNELBASE.dll
    Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.18409
    Fault Module Timestamp: 53159a86
    Exception Code: e0434f4d
    Exception Offset: 0000c42d
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033
    Additional Information 1: 0a9e
    Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789
    Additional Information 3: 0a9e
    Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789

I've never encountered this before, so if someone could lend a helping hand, possibly someone who's had the same issue but found out how to fix it, that would be amazing. An early thank you to all who try to help, I'll be back to read responses in the morning, night everyone :)

Screw it, I'm going to uninstall every MS update I have that it allows me to for Windows itself until this program stops giving me APPCRASH errors. The program I'm trying to run has been known to mess up people's Authui.dll file, but I'm dual booted with Kali Linux and use Grub 2 boot manager so if my Windows ever messes up, I can fix it from outside the OS. And I know that my computer is capable of working with this program because I've done it before and my system properties are set up to be perfectly compatible with it. So time for the long grueling process of uninstalling updates one by one because you can't highlight and uninstall them all...
