    Adobe Illustrator does not work

I am sorry is such question already exists here, but a do not found it. So the question. Installed CS. Works only a few minutes, and then interface elements disappear, the screen is white. Maybe my comp is weak for CS? AMD Duron 1100, RAM 256-32 video. What do you think, what's the problem?
Found this somewhere: Said a thousand times - install either CS CE or install a patch on a common CS. Is it true? What sort of patch i need to install then?

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
I'd personally contact Adobe support for the issue,
    And or uninstall/ re-install illustrator,
    Cheers.

Sorry - poor attempt at humor. I looked Duron 1100 up in Wiki and it said release date Oct 2001. Ditto AI CS circa 2003. Puts troll hat in trashcan . . .
