    installing intuit quickbooks


    I have been trying to install quickbooks on my system for a couple days now with no success. I have tried to do a clean install of it using their clean install tool but every time i try and run it; it says the process is in use by another application. However; when i go to look for any processes in use that may be for quickbooks; there are none shown in the task manager. Granted; even with my knowledge of computers, and the insides, etc; this one has me stumped. Can anyone help me figure this one out?

    I've seen that only once and it seemed to have been fixed when I updated the Windows Installer, don't know if it will apply for you. It probably needs to be version 5.
