trying to find software

Hi, I run IE 11 on windows 7.A few months ago I was searching ebay for the cheapest price offered for a particular item..As I hit upon this item a banner appeared across the laptop screen telling me where I could buy this item cheaper. This must have accompanied a program I was downloading. I didnt like to program; whatever it was so uninstalled it. The price comparison software went with it. I cant now remember what I had downloaded so wondered whether anyone has come across this comparison download and if so the name of it. Many thanks jack

Hello the first thing I would do would run a full scan with what ever security you have I would also run a full scan using malwarebytes. Here is there link.

I'm not sure I'm responding to the right question here, but Firefox has an add-on called PriceBlink which offers competitive prices when you select an item for online purchase. A Google search for Price Blink shows it can be downloaded for IE as well. Is this what you are looking for?

I'm glad you checked. It's always smart to research a bit before installing an unfamiliar program!

Best software to find driver updates?
Is there any software that can check automatically for driver updates? It'll have to check for everything including NVIDIA, Intel, Realtek etc. I don't mind if I have to pay for it as long as it isn't over a $100. Thanks in advance, Jaidyn

Where to find Unbiased Software Reviews?
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good site (unbiased) for software reviews. I have Google'd many software reviews and I have become suspicious that they are mostly biased. I understand that if a software company is spending money with your site (advertising or whatever) you can't tick them...
