.net 4 Installation Problem ?

    .net 4 Installation Problem ?


    Hi Folks,

    Trying to install .net 4
    Running W7, the 64 bit version.

    Have received, on numerous tries, an error msg that says it fialed because
    of: HRResult 0xc800247

    I will append the log below.

    Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

    Final Result: Installation failed with error code: (0xC8000247) (Elapsed time: 0 00:06:33).

    Try the following;

    1) Download the .Net 4 Standalone installer from here http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17718
    2) Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation process

    I would recommend getting Windows 7 updated including SP-1.
