Trying to find a way to install google earth sliently with a .msi file

    Hello all,

    Platform: Win7 Professional x64

Ok so I need to install google earth sliently with a .msi file so I can call the .msi file from a batch file.
I have tried going to the %temp% folder and extracting the files and using the .msi file that's there but it doesn't install google earth it pops up like its installing and then disappears quickly. I cant use the commercial version of google earth so I can't get there .msi..... I am not in a domain environment.

if anyone knows more about this please help me...

You can use Chocolatey for this purpose. Once installed it lets you install many programs on the command line automatically and completely unattended, which could fit your batch file well. They have Google Earth in their catalog.

Under the hood what it does is to download the installer from the official website and run it with the default options in quiet mode. You don't need to have a msi or any other file around for this.
