    winpower warning screen - @ bootup


    g'day,

    when i bootup i get this warning screen, but everything seems to work well?

    "winpower warning

    date and time is what is current
    communication lost with LINE-USB
    check connection & port setting"

    can i stop the warning please

    sorry boozad, we did have a UPS but it stopped working so we took it away it didn't work for long 3 years maybe

    The winpower warning seems to come from a UPS from what I can see, maybe it's residual from the one you had hooked up. Can you post a screenshot of Device Manager with the Universal Serial Bus slot expanded please.

    i've got win7

    there is no key on the key board to save screen or the like

    is there something i can look for in that section, we have the section expanded

    we can see nothing that might relate to a UPS

    Press the PrtScn key then open Paint and press CTRL+V to paste the screenshot in then save it as a .JPG. Then upload the screenshot to this site Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums

    I don't suppose you can remember the model of the UPS can you? My knowledge of UPS' is bordering on non-existant so I'm relying on as much Google-Fu as possible here just to rule it out as the problem.
