Print Screen to which Application ? Free I hope

I use Open Office from Sun. But a fiend does not.

I just want to send a screen shot to him but what application can I use ?

I just use Windows 7 Pro in it socks with Firefox.

What should I install that I can paste screen shots into ?

    A puzzled ,

PNG > JPG for clarity and size, but JPG if you don't care about picture quality. Like Bongo said, just open Paint and hit CTRL + V to paste it.

Did you tried the Snapping Tool in the accessories in the start program?
