    Cant delete 'Windows' folder

As simple as it sounds, it was an old hdd that had windows on it and there is a folder on it still called 'windows' with system32 folder in it, i have changed permissions and who owns it and yet i still cant delete it with admin rights. the folder has a lock on it but idk what else to try

    Hello Skrillek,

Would formatting the drive be a viable option?

In that case, see if you may be able to delete the subfolders in it first, then the Windows folder.

If not, then see if you may be able to delete the folder at boot.

Folder - Delete from Command Prompt

i have another problem, it only happens when i open raw video footage, if it hasn't been compressed to h.264 windows media player opens fine but also a window saying installing pinnacle studio 17 opens every time... and i had it before but i deleted the files before uninstalling the program.

a little while in it has an error but it is really annoying

Try scanning with CCleaner both cleaner and registry sections. See how it goes.
