What's a good virtual drive software for opening .iso files?

I'd like to create virtual drive to open .iso image file on Windows 7. Previously I had used Daemon Tools for the job, but now I read it bundles spyware and has been responsible for blue screen errors for some machines. What's the best program to use?

I use Daemon Tools. I don't know if there's spyware in the latest version. Maybe you can do the job with extractor? Such as 7-zip.

7zip worked for extraction, but I also need virtual drive functionality. Popular choices like Alcohol 120%/57% install adware and Daemon Tools has bad reputation. Both Wikipedia page and
Mount an ISO image in Windows 7, Windows 8 or Vista
this guy say that Daemon Tools has spyware in it.

I tried to use Microsoft's Virtual CR-ROM Control Panel which is made for Windows XP, but it didn't work out.
