Multiple Instances of SpeedFan on Startup

Hi guys,

Whenever I login, 2 instances of SpeedFan start up. I only need one. Is there any way to fix this please? I have tried reinstalling but there are still 2 instances. I've already checked that there are no shortcuts to SpeedFan in the user and appdata startup folders, and no Speedfan-related entries in both services.msc and msconfig. There is no setting within SpeedFan to "start with Windows" or similar.

Something somewhere must be telling SpeedFan to start twice. Have I missed anything? Please help!

You might get a utility called Autoruns from Microsoft and look to see where Speedfan is starting from.

Multiple iexplorer.exe instances
I have the same issue, and understand it's part of how IE 8 works. But, like others, after I close all instances of IE, I still have some listed in my task manager, some very large, eating up memory. I'm still on IE 8. Would upgrading to 10 help, or no?

Speedfan will not start from the startup folder
How do I get Speedfan to start at boot? I put it in the startup folder and nothing happens. I can start it up manually, but it does give me the bit 'do you want to let the following program make changes to your computer?'
Multiple Instances Tweak
Had no luck Googling the question, so here hoping that someone can help me here. Is there a tweak possible to cause a program that doesn't have the ability built-in, to open multiple instances of itself to do so? I use Movie Collector for cataloging videos, and often when using it's scraper...
How can I run multiple instances of MP?
I'm trying to compare original .mov files to variations of transcoded .avi files. I really need to see them side by side, preferably 3 screens at once. I tried pinning MP to the task bar and shift-clicking but nothing happens. If this is not possible, could you recommend a player that would...
