Return of the dreaded 'This file does not have a program associated..'
I've had this problem previously, but recovered normal functions by running ToolWiz. For whatever reason, this has previously been successful, but not this time!
Have tried a couple of fixes in the tutorial section, but cannot get the downloads to run, as the message pops up again when I try and open the file, with no right click option.
However, and this was discovered by pure accident, if I right click on the programs which generate the fault message (all of them!), and select 'run as administrator' in the drop down, all the programs will run ok!?!? This, despite the setting of my account to be administrator!
The question is, does W10 do a clean install, or just upgrade? I've bought an SSD, but don't know whether to run the W10 install, and then clone and install the SSD, or do a full reinstall of W7, run the W10 install, THEN clone and fit the SSD? My concern is that if W10 doesn't install clean, I'm going to pass the problem on.
Any thoughts, people?
