Try a System Restore to a date form before the change. System Restore

If that doesn't work, change ownership of the following to TrustedInstaller - TrustedInstaller - Restore as Owner
    - Windows
    - Program Files (x86)
    - Program Files

Try System Restore from the Recovery Environment - Option 2 - in the tutorial.
